CloudOps Engineer(Transitioning into a Platform Engineer)
Location: Remote (Australia)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented Systems Engineer ready to evolve into a Platform Engineer within three years. Our client is a mission-led, product company that build tools for the betterment of humanity!

This role suits someone experienced in automation, IaC, and cloud technologies. You’ll contribute to projects like database migrations and tenant automation, working closely with our AI and cloud teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to automation, IaC, and cloud infrastructure projects.
  • Support database migration (MariaDB to PostgreSQL) and tenant deletion automation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on cloud strategy and platform evolution.
  • Maintain and improve containerised cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
  • 5–7 years of experience in systems engineering and cloud technologies.
  • Strong background in Linux, AWS (EC2, ECS), and modern databases.
  • Experience with IaC tools (e.g., CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog and Graylog.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with remote teams.
