AWS DevOps Engineer
Sydney CBD (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
6-Month Contract
Up to $850 per day

Nuage is partnered with a leading technology business. We're looking for an AWS / DevOps Engineer to join a high performing engineering team delivering cloud infrastructure, automation and CI/CD improvements across a modern AWS environment.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a mix of infrastructure automation, deployment engineering, cloud governance and supporting quality engineering practices.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure using Terraform
Building and improving CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
Implementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
Driving cloud security, governance and Infrastructure as Code best practices
Supporting automated and manual testing environments
Integrating testing frameworks into deployment pipelines
Troubleshooting environment and deployment issues
Working closely with engineering, QA and security teams to improve platform reliability and delivery speed

What We're Looking For

Strong AWS and DevOps engineering experience
Commercial experience with Terraform
Scripting experience in Python, Bash or PowerShell
Experience with GitHub Actions and/or GitLab CI
Exposure to HashiCorp Sentinel or Policy as Code frameworks
Experience supporting automated testing within CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of ECS, EKS and/or Kubernetes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
