I’m partnering with one of the best engineering teams in Australia to hire a permanent DevOps Manager.

You’ll work remotely from Sydney, with occasional office time for team sessions and key meetings.

This is a role for someone who loves leadership and getting their hands dirty.

You understand technical discussions, know which questions matter, and can quickly remove roadblocks.

You build high‑performing teams and know how to get the best out of distributed engineers across time zones.
- Hands‑On
Expect 40–60% hands‑on work so you stay close to the team’s world.

��️ Technical Must‑Haves
- Deep, current AWS experience
Background in DevOps / SRE with IaC, zero‑touch environments, ideally serverless
Strong understanding of cost optimisation & resiliency across the AWS ecosystem
Bonus: multi‑region data sync experience
Familiarity with resiliency scenarios, cross‑regional failover, RTO/RPO conversations
Ability to talk through system design across components such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda and more
