What You’ll Be Doing
- Technical Leadership: Guide development teams through code and specification reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality delivery.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary contact for senior stakeholders, contributing to pre-sales, tenders, and strategic consulting.
- Solution Architecture: Design distributed applications and architect Azure platforms and landing zones aligned with CAF.
- Implementation & Testing: Lead hands-on delivery of cloud-native and integration solutions, including robust testing and performance optimization.
- DevOps Mastery: Architect and build across the DevOps ecosystem using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Systems Expertise: Deep understanding of traditional infrastructure and its transformation to Azure.
- Strategic Impact: Oversee major projects including:
- Legacy uplifts with OpenAI
- Banking platform transformations
- High-level government initiatives
- A confidential world-first technology build
- Community Contribution: Share knowledge, develop internal accelerators, and help scope new opportunities.
Interpersonal Skills
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Agile project and team management experience
- Collaborative and inclusive mindset
- 10+ years in IT, 5+ years in Azure solution delivery
- Experience with Azure Migrate, CAF-aligned platforms, and landing zones
- Infrastructure as code expertise (Terraform, Bicep)
- Scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
- Desirable: C#/.NET experience,
- Azure Solutions Architect certification
