You'll be working alongside a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple project workstreams, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery across a complex and highly regulated environment.
This role is ideally suited to a Project Manager with experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives within Defence or Federal Government who understands governance, stakeholder management, and the realities of operating within a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned project workstreams during service engagements
- Develop and execute project plans, including scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and success criteria
- Manage multiple sub-projects within the broader Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 program
- Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure milestones are achieved
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and changes
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, dashboards, and governance updates
- Support project financial management, including budget tracking and forecasting
- Assist with contract management activities and project documentation
- Ensure project outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Navigate complex governance processes and ensure compliance with Defence standards and policies
- Current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (essential)
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale technology projects within Defence or Federal Government environments
- Proven experience managing projects valued between $50 million and $80 million
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 deployment or transformation programs
- Experience managing project financials, contracts, reporting, and governance activities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate across diverse teams
- Experience working within large consultancies or complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of government processes, approvals, and governance frameworks
- Previous experience working within Defence environments
- Familiarity with Defence systems, processes, and key stakeholder groups
- Experience supporting enterprise workplace technology transformations
- Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications
